# HostGator WordPress Admin

 * Hi, I just installed wordpress via fantastico using hostgator.com. I’ve very 
   new to this and am trying to work through [http://codex.wordpress.org/First_Steps_With_WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/First_Steps_With_WordPress)
   those instructions, but for life of me I cannot find my way to the WordPress 
   admin page! I hate being stuck at the very start… Can anyone shed any light on
   where I need to go?

 * Add `/wp-admin/` to the end of wherever you installed WordPress. For example:
 * `yourdomain.com/wp-admin/`
 * `yourdomain.com/wordpress/wp-admin/`
 * `yourdomain.com/blog/wp-admin/`
 * etc.

 * I did this, however it just comes up with “server not found”

 * More than likely, your new domain had not yet propagated to your ISP, which can
   take up to 48 hours.
