Initially I got this database connection error. Then I have it fixed by creating a new user and have it saved into the database. And I have also went to update the details in wp-config.php. * Now either I totally cannot access the admin log in page or if I managed to log in, as I clicked further, I got the same error remark. As for the site, again is the same problem. Either I could see it or I got a blank page with the error message. If I could access the site, as I clicked further, it still led to the error page. * I have wrote to the host server. They replied with some suggestions, but of not much help. Then they totally stopped replying my mail. * Could someone enlighten me. Is it some technical faults over my side or is the host’s database is down? I’ve seen this before, and it’s always been that either the web server or the database server is down or can’t connect to each other. Most times that’s bene due to the server/servers being under-powered and not able to handle the load. Because it doesn’t work a lot of the time it means that the hosting server/db server are underpowered and can’t handle the load that they are under. That’s 100% a hosting issue, and your hosting company are the only ones that can help you with that. * Anything else can most likely be found by checking the error logs of your site. This will tell you what errors have occured and where they were. This will give you a verty good place to start de-bugging them and fixing any issues like that. From my StatCounter report, it is still coming in, but have problem accessing, as it indicates a big drop in traffic since yesterday and today.
