Hi @madeglobal,
Sorry to hear that you have not had a good experience with Gutenberg so far. There are ways of using Gutenbegr without using your mouse at all – the many slash commands are a great example of this. You can find some information about those in this articel: https://gutenbergtimes.com/moving-paragraphs-adding-images-and-the-slash-command/
If you have feedback on specific issues in Gutenberg, please log an issue on the GitHub repo.
If you prefer the classic editor that is part of WordPress at the moment, you can try the Classic Editor Plugin and then you will not see Gutenberg in your dashboard at all (even after it is added to Core).
Thanks!
Sadly, if it needs videos to explain things like moving paragraphs and adding images, this new editor has missed the point completely, in my opinion.
I’m sure it’ll get there. But judging from what I’ve seen and have now used, it’s not close yet. Moving it to the core would be hugely detrimental to the reputation of WordPress for new users and experienced ones alike.
Keep working on it. Maybe it’ll all come good in the end.
