If you are reading this after calling Constant Contact and were unhappy with their first level folks not knowing how to fix this…I’ll let you know I WISH I read these reviews first! The online help team read this review literally within the hour and had it fixed next day. There was a coding issue in my WP. That can happen but does CC tell you before you install the plugin? NO…but the code heroes came through. The system is now working and I’m happy that I can continue on with my project and all is good!

    Hey @callthatgirl

We’re a little confused by your remarks regarding the Google Captcha part. While it’s true that we have support for Google Captcha, it’s not enabled by default. It requires adding some API keys for it to be set and utilized at all. If you are dealing with spam issues, we have other measures in place already that we hope are working, and there is possible Akismet integration coming soon as well.

Would love to hear back from you and gather some more information. Hope to hear from you soon.

OK here is what happened–very short version. I setup the plug-in, did the settings I needed and put the link in my page. Immediately I got a “captcha invalid key error” so I got that figured out and it still would not work. I played around and removed the google analytics box and then the error went away and re capatcha came back but no submit button. I called in to see if I could remove the captcha completely and they said no, it’s in the code. This is where it gets bad…First of all, no novice WordPress person should be in the css editing anything. I had my friend do it because I was afraid of jacking up my website and I’m close to launching it for a webinar course. We tried a few things and it’s still not working. The captcha is in the plugin and required, if you can help me remove that, I’ll be very happy. After my 2 hour support call, I cried and took a nap. 4 hours total wasted.

Can you contact us at apisupport@constantcontact.com and put “ReCAPTCHA and WordPress forum support” as the email subject? We would like to have Michael take a closer look at things, away from the public facing area here.

We understand the frustration, and appreciate any willingness to allow the primary people in charge of our WordPress plugin to help.

How long will this take for you folks to reply?

Thanks for checking back with us here. I was about to circle back to this conversation, but you beat me to it. I had checked with the people who initially receive emails at that address and they said they hadn’t seen anything come in yet.

Can you try again once more, and this time can you also include support@pluginize.com as a CC for it? Better chance if there’s multiple destinations.

    Thanks.
