Support » Plugin: TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy » Horizontal scrolling does not apply to table header

    Hello,

    Thanks for a great plugin.

I have enabled horizontal scrolling, and it works except that the table header does not follow the columns under it. This makes it useless. Table heading must align with the content under it to make sense.

I tried filling the first cell of the table header with invisible content to see if it would help. But it still does not align.

    What is wrong?

    Best regards
    Niclas

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Instead of using the “Horizontal Scrolling” checkbox on the table’s “Edit” screen, please try using the scroll mode that the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ offers.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Ok. Since I’m looking for a free solution, I fixed it by filling the first cell of the table header with a div that has the same width as the widest word in its column. Works fine.
