horizontal centred dropdown menu in footer

    Hi I have read the forum help on this topic and it states that you place
    <?php wp_footer(); ?> in the footer.php file just before body.

    I am using the Exposure theme and there isn’t any header or body in the footer.php file. I have downloaded dropdown menu widget and have inserted all the settings. It shows at the top of the settings page just want I am wanting and the link works after Gallery.
    However when it shows live, it is not horizontal and centred and the links don’t work (after Gallery).
    I really appreciate some help with this please.
