Hook which provides the data being submitted

    Hello Tony

    I want to use CFDB Plugin to save data submitted using the form I have created using WR ContactForm into the database. For that it is needed to know the hook which WR ContactForm provides to catch the data and which CFDB can subscribe to so that it can see the incoming submission.

    Can you please help me in knowing the subject hook?

    hi t2m,

    Thank you for the patience. There are 3 hooks you can consider:

    1. wr_contactform_frontend_action_save_form
    2. wr_contactform_before_save_form
    3. wr_contactform_after_save_form

    These hooks are located at contactform-frontend.php

    Here’s a good news. I contacted the author of CFDB with above hooks to integrate WR ContactForm with his plugin. He readily accepted my request and did the needful. And now, yes you are right, CFDB is capturing data submitted using WR ContactForm and putting it into the database!

    Aren’t you excited? Its a great development for both the plugins!

    Thank you for the reply. I am really excited with the news mentioned above. If possible, could you let us know the code the author of plugin CFDB has done ? so that i can pass it to our developers to consider an improvement for future versions. Thank you very much

    Sorry for late reply.

    I don’t know code which author of CFDB wrote to accomplish the task. Actually, he didn’t write the code just for me; instead he released new version for his plugin which is available for everyone.
