    Thanks for your reply Ryan.
    However, I cannot upgrade the wordpress site because its been running for more than 2-3 years and upgrading will stop some other plugins as well.
    I read some other threads and tried that as well, but nothing working for me…

    My first suggestion is to update your version of WordPress, as there have been a number of security updates since version 2.9.

    You didn’t mention which version of Contact Form 7 you’re using. Are you using the latest version? Currently 3.7.2.

    If you’re stuck using older versions of WordPress and CF7, you’ll have to also use an older version of CF7 Honeypot.

    EDIT: If you’re using the latest version of CF7, you shouldn’t need an older version of CF7 Honeypot. Some changes were introduced in the later versions of CF7 that required matching changes in CF7 Honeypot.

    My contact form 7 is Version 2.2.1
    can you please suggest me where can i find the old version of CF7 honeypot?

    Yep, you can get other versions here. I recommend trying 1.3.
