    Hi,

I updated to the latest version (0.4.2), with Honeypot being activated, but it messes up the input suggestions written in Japanese characters (English characters stay fine). Whenever I deactivate the Honeypot function, it goes back to normal.

Here’s a screenshot of the messed up state (which I deactived on the live version): https://ibb.co/1KBKsY5

    Any help is appreciated.
    Cheers!

@ardsoms, thank you for you feedback!

I apologize and can confirm that you are right and the text inside the input placeholder is messed… I have already created a fix for that, will be in the next version!

If you feel confident with changing a plugin file content, you need to change @ line 61 of wp-content/plugins/cf7-antispam/includes/cf7a-frontend.php with the one you find on git, if not, by the weekend I will finish some “new features” of the next version and release it!

I ask you to be patient because this way of doing honeypots/honeyforms is new and “unseen” but of course like all things it needs some burn-in!

    thanks again for the feedback!

    ciao @ardsoms,

I’ve just updated the v 0.4.3 of the plugin and now it should encode correctly with accented letters.

Can I ask you to confirm that the fix works?
