Home.php – How do do the loop otherwise?

  • I have a site where I’ve used home.php in my theme with no “loop” on the front page. It’s a business site and didn’t want to have the blog posts on the home page… but rather marketing copy.

I’ve added a home.php and that works, but how do I show the “blog homgepage”.

I only seem to be able to get to categories or archives now.

  • One of the disadvantages (?) of using a home.php template is that it will never let you display the index.php of the theme.

    Thanks Moshu…

I also tried the static page plug-in, but I couldn’t get to the “loop main page” in much the same manner as this disadvantage.

Anyone know if that sounds right and is there an “easy” way to do what I’m looking for?
