  • Hello,

I am rebuilding the website of my company using the free version of Astrid theme version 1.15. Is it possible to show you my problem while keeping my coming soon mode active?

On the homepage, I would like my content and pictures to fill the screen. How can I get rid of the homepage and right sidebar frames? (thin grey lines). I do not have any widgets in the sidebar.

    Thank you for your help.

    Claire

  • Hello Claire,

Yes, it’s possible, but have you checked Astrid documentation?

    Hi Roman,

I added the One click demo import plugin what made my homepage disappear. Also I cannot use Elementor on my homepage anymore… I uninstalled the One click demo import files and the plugin but it does not work. How can I get it back?

    Kind regards,
    Claire

    Also,

The content does not appear on my homepage anymore.

    Hello Claire,

Astrid theme is designed to work without any page builder at all, did you try to follow Astrid documentation?

    Kind Regards, Roman.

    Hello Roman,

Yes I had a look at the documentation but it seemed to work very well with Elementor before I imported the demo files… I really like the homepage design that I had. Could you help me to get it back?

    Kind regards,
    Claire

    Hello Claire,

Do you have a site backup to restore?

    Hello Roman,

    Yes I got it back.
However, I still have the thin grey container at the back that I would like to get rid of. How can I do? 🙂

    Hello Claire,

Can you please disable the Maintenance Mode?

    Hi Roman,
Could you please tell me when you can have a look at it so I will not disable the maintenance mode for too long? That would be great 🙂

    Kind regads,
    Claire

    Hello Claire,

I can’t tell you specific time, but I always try to answer within 24 hours.

    Kind Regards, Roman.

    Claire,

I was searching for it and just figured it out. You just need to change the page type. In order to do this, you go to pages. Then on the page you would like to do that to, click quick edit and then change the template. I recommend full width for what you stated you wanted to do, but would recommend you play around with this and choose for yourself. (I don’t think you need to download anything for this.)

I hope that helped, but if it doesn’t, let me know! 🙂

    Hi Ekam,

Thank you for your answer. I changed the template for full width in the page quick edit mode as suggested. I also tried some other templates but it did not change :/ I still have the grey container (on all the pages). I would like to enclose some screenshots but it seems that it is not possible.

    Kind regards,
    Claire
