    Hello everyone , i am using Montezuma theme, its a free one that i downloaded from WP itself. I want my homepage to show full text instead of these short excerpts.
    this is the blog : http://undercon.org

    I watched some videos and i see that they usually edit index.php but my index.php looks like this:

    <!--<div id="container">-->

    <?php get_header(); ?>

    <div id="main" class="row">

    	<div id="content" class="cf col8">

    		<?php bfa_content_nav( 'multinav1' ); ?>

    		<?php bfa_loop( 'postformat' ); ?>

    		<?php bfa_content_nav( 'multinav2' ); ?>

    	</div>

    	<div id="widgetarea-one" class="col4">
    		<?php dynamic_sidebar( 'Widget Area ONE' ); ?>
    	</div>

    </div>

    <?php get_footer(); ?>

    <!--</div>-->

    Can you help me with this please

    Thanks

    Do you have a child theme set up – you should not modify theme files as your changes will be overwritten when the theme is updated.

    Hello , no i do not have child theme. Does it update automatically?

    I dont mind changing a part of code when theme is updated , i just dont know what part of code to modify

    You simply need to modify postformat.php under the montezuma editor.

    Just replace:

    bfa_excerpt( 55, ‘…’ );

    with:

    the_content();

    and your posts will display in the manner specified by the normal options, including displaying the entire post unless trimmed with the “more” tag.
