Homepage redirection

I just registered a new domain and host on same server with the old domain. The new domain is now the main domain for the host. I updated the sql by replacing the old domain with the new domain. All pages and posts are accessible with the new domain but the homepage is redirecting to the old domain. what could be the solution please. Thanks
