Homepage loads extremely slow but article pages load fast ??

My site, Leafygreen.info loads super slowly when you click that link but when you goto a article like this one it loads in a fraction of the time.

I removed all the plugins and put them back cause they did not resolve the issues, i upped the memory in the wp-settings, i checked my db thru bluehost.

i’m thinking it maybe a host issue, any thoughts?
