Homepage is not formatting

I am trying to mimic the site http://thetalkinggeek.com/ on http://chiefexecutiverex.com/ (I own both domains). I have installed the latest version of the theme and then matched all the settings, pages, and widgets to be the same as that of the original site – but the second is completely non-formatted!
