Support » Fixing WordPress » Homepage Header Issue

  • Hello,

    I am wondering how I can just show the google map only on the frontpage but the other pages, it’ll show normal. I have tried many different codes but it doesn’t work, it keeps loading on all pages.

    Please advise

    Thanks

    You could block it via CSS, but that’s pretty inefficient for something like a map.

    As you use a commercial theme/plugin and need support, please use their official support channel. We feel they are best equipped to support their products.

    Commercial products are not supported in these forums. .

    I am not using the premium but a free theme to test things out first before I make a decision to upgrade to a premium theme.

    You might consider child theming it and putting a conditional around the code that puts the map in the header — using something like

    if( is_front_page() ) { show map code }

    Honestly, that code doesn’t work.

    That was an “off the top of my head” bit of code; it was a suggestion, not actual code.

    Please contact the developers of your theme for support as it’s not a theme available on wordpress.org. (Or, if it is, I didn’t find it, so please give me a link.)

    Ah, gotcha.

    Right, its on their own website. You can see it:

    Note: I did send them a email and see if they will reply and suggested them to put the free version themes on wordpress.org so attract more people to try it out.
