Following the WordPress update to 4.7 early this month, and the Yoast update to 4.0.2, the contents of my site’s homepage below the header and top navbar halt loading for the desktop browser requests. The same happens on the Contact page. Other pages view just fine, and the pages appear to be loading just fine on Android. While logged-in to my WP dashboard, the front page and contact pages load just fine, too.

Prior to the updates, the pages viewed just fine. When I deactivate Yoast, my site functions properly.

    Webserver: nginx/1.10.1
    OS: Linux

    Please advise.

    Thanks!

  • It seems as fatal error in PHP. Try to check nginx error log, PHP error log.

I recommend to you enable debug mode. You can see instructions:
    https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress

You can change WP_DEBUG to true and add WP_DEBUG_LOG true. You will see debug.log in wp-content.

Did you customize some code in the theme? Is it the latest version of the theme?
