homepage anchor links from menu not working

    Hi, I’m preparing the homepage of business elite theme with my child theme.

    Whn adding in the menu an nachor to that section of the page it doesn’t work.

    I added an id “contact-us-menu-ora” to the H2 title of that section, and added the #contact-us-menu-ora href to the menu item.

    clicking it from the address bar, works properly.
    clicking it directly from the menu it does nothing, and clicking the same menu item from other pages of the site it comes to home page, but only scrolls on top not going to the desired section.

    why?

    Thanks for posting about this!

    Please note, that the scrolling function will not work with the URL you have mentioned. I just checked your website and seems like you have set the menu item to the correct URL:

    https://orastudio.it/sitoora/#contact_us

    And this works properly. Please follow the instructions provided on Theme Options > Homepage tab, the correct links are mentioned here.

    Yes, I had to use the already defined #contact_us id but I wanted to use my own one. and that doesn’t work.

    I wanted to assign my own custom id to the H2 tag in order to link different positions of that section.

    Hello, @resunoiz!

    Unfortunately, it the theme doesn’t let adding custom URLs for these sections. Each of the default URLs triggers the scroll function, that is why the links cannot be customized.
