"HOME" Tab leads to Page Not Found, blog posts not appearing in BLOG Tab

    Hi y’all, thanks in advance for your help.

    It’s my first time using WordPress, so I might be doing this correctly..

    Problem 1: The “HOME” tab, when clicked takes me to a page that says “Oops! That Page Can’t Be Found” – there’s nothing I can do to edit or change this page.

    Problem 2: The “BLOG” tab, when clicked takes me to a page informing me that this is the Site’s blog. However, the “test” post I’ve published does not appear.

    Problem 3: I can’t figure out what version of WordPress I’m using. I’ve checked my Dashboard, stats, etc..everything! (for now Im just assuming it’s ver 4.5.1

    How can these problems be rectified? Hope to hear from you guys soon!

    Have you been able to resolve this issue as you posted this topic two weeks ago?

    If not, under Settings / Reading, you have the option to choose your ‘front page’ and your ‘posts page’ where you can specify your home page and blog page.

    As for finding out your version of WordPress, there are a few places to check. At the bottom left corner within your Dashboard, you should be able to see your WordPress version. As well, within your Dashboard if you have the ‘screen option’ of ‘At a Glance’ selected, it should tell you which version you’re on and what theme you’re using too.
