Home page with posts malfunctions

    Hi,

    I have theme Esplanade and a number of widgets. After migrating from one provider’s server to the other, I could not get into the backend at all. So I re-installed WP on a test server, uploaded the database mySql file – without the plugins – (no problem), and then added back Esplanade and the plugins.

    Strangely, everything is working okay except the home page, which contains posts. All the other pages are “pages”. On the home page, images are not displayed, and the posts are truncated.

    Here is how it should look:
    http://www.servethecitygeneva.ch (from the production site)

    but instead I get this:
    http://www.hacksrus.biz/stcg/site

    I have spent hours trying to debug this. Can anyone help?
