Home page widgets not showing

    Hello,

    I set a page as “homepage” and I would like to add a widget on this page.

    I added a widget to “homepage” in the widget page but nothing appears. However, the other widgets that I added for the other pages (principal/main) also appear on the homepage while it shouldn’t.

    All I want is to set different widgets for the home page and the other pages but it doesn’t work as it should.

    Have you assigned Front Page Template as your front page?

    Thank you for your reply!

    I tried to assign the front page template but if I do so, there is no sidebar, this template is full width.

    Although, I could get the result I was looking for using the widget visibility tool.

    Yes, Front Page Template is always full width. So widget visibility tool might be best solution in this case.

    Ok, I understood. But, why is there an area for widgets on the sidebar of the front page?

    “Sidebar located in Front Page Template” should probably be “Widget area located in Front Page Template” because it’s not located “on the side”.
