Home page returns a 404 since changing from default permalink

    Today I have installed wordpress on a subdomain and imported my posts and comments etc over from blogware.

    Also I have just changed my blogs permalink structure from the default to /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

    Since doing this my urls for anything deeper than the homepage work but my home page returns a 404 error, any idea why?
