HELP – home page not opening

    I just edited my home page, and now it opens up a different page on my site. When I try to “Preview Changes” the page looks fine, and has the new changes, but every time I open the home page either by typing the url or clicking a link, it opens up a new page I created recently instead of the “Home” page…not good.

    After trying to correct this, my home page AND the new page won’t open at all. The home page seems to want to re-direct to this new page, and creating a loop that never works.

    It is probably something minor, but can’t seem to find it – any help for this doofus?

    What do you have in your Settings | Reading?

    This is where you set your landing page.

    It is set to the right page?

    Yes, I checked that, but thanks. It is set up correct.

    Odd thing is, it is now working in Firefox, but not Safari (Apple’s browser, which I use most times).

    I even deleted a plugin (“Redirection”) someone had installed for me, but the problem was still there in Safari. Someone else told me it may cause the issue, but even with it deleted, the problem persists.

    Have you cleared Safari’s cache?

    Geeez, I thought I thought of everything, but that seemed to have helped.

    Feeling just a wee bit knuckle-headed!
