• Hi,

I have WordPress installed at root level in my web space – so that my domain goes straight to the wordpress index.php file. I’ve created a string of pages, including a Home page of course, all linked from a nav bar.

If I enter the domain name url into my browser I get my Home page and all the other pages work nicely from the nav. However, if I’m on say the ‘About’ page and then click the Home link in the navbar, I get an error “The requested URL was not found on this server”. The only way to get back to the home page is to click the Header logo – the Home Page link in the navbar doesn’t work.

I copied both lunk locations and notice that the home page link is purely mydomain.com while the link from the header logo is mydomain.com/

I’ve tried to force this by adding the forward slash in the admin settings>Wordpress Address URL, but it won’t accept the forward slash when I save the settings and keeps reverting to the straight mydomain.com address.

Nor can I find anywhere to change the permalink address of the Home page.

Anyone know how to fix this behaviour? You can see it in the flesh at http://79.170.44.142/shonephotography.com/

    Many thanks
    Hugh
