• I am using the Albiza theme.
I just installed Contact Form 7 and created a new page where i inserted the contact form. (Permalink http://www.mysite.com/contact)
Everything was set up fine except that now my homepage reverts to the contact page’s url. I can’t get to my contact page at all. Even after removed the contact page and uninstalled Contact Form 7.

    Please help.

I need to correct and clarify my post above. It is the home page that I can no longer access (not the contact page). I have deleted the contact page, however when i try to access the home page it reverts to http://www.mysite/contact and shows page not found error. How can i fix this?
I suspect i have to change something in the index file or the .htaccess perhaps?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

i just tried deactivating all plugins and switched back to the default theme and still it reverts to gracefulexchange.org/contact.

i don’t know what else to do except re-install wordpress.
does anyone else have any ideas?

    Site url?

ah, i just cleared my cache and now all is well. i guess i’ll just have to slowly re-enable all the plugins to find out what went wrong…
