[Resolved] 'Home' Page in TwentyTen top navigation

I have a static page called ‘About’. It is set as my home page. It appears by that name in the sidebar navigation.
However, in the top navigation (div id=”access”, div class=”menu”) it appears as ‘Home’.
How can I make it appear there as ‘About’, please?
    With thanks.

If you can post your url would be better as we can see what you have on your website
Try and create a home page and use that as static in reading.

If you utilize the new menu management (WP v3), you can alter the text manually.

    • Go to your dashboard
    • Go to Appearance -> Menus
    • Create a menu (call it Menu, if you want)
    • Under Theme Locations attach your new menu to under Primary Navigation
    • Add your About page
    • Expand the About menu item and change the Navigation Label to read “About”
    • Save the menu

You’ll need to rebuild any other menu items you have, but once you do it the first time you’ll have complete control over the menu and naming each menu item.

Thanks to you all for responding.
I followed chinmoy29’s link, and changing ‘$args[‘show_home’] = true;’ to ‘ = false;’ in the functions.php file did the trick, quick and easy!
    Thanks again.

word press has best control over menu so any thing is possible
