• After installing my wordpress blog I created five new pages. When I view the blog there are 6 pages, the 5 i added and the home page with a message that what you are looking for does not exist!
When I go back to the dash board and go into pages the five pages I added are there but the home page is not, so I can not delete it or publish posts on it. Strange. What to do?

    Hi Govpatel,
Oh I see, I suppose I should just try putting a post up and seeing where it goes. But I still don`t see how to delete or change things on the default page.

As you post a article or post using post label you will see them on the home page and when you put the 2nd post you will see that above the 1st one depending how many you selected in settings reading a new page will be created.

If you want to post with just a headline and first paragraph than click your mouse at end of paragraph and pres ctrl+alt+T
you will see a line with more at end now when you publish you will see the first paragraph with continue reading at end when you click on that the whole post will open.

But I still don`t see how to delete or change things on the default page.

You just delete or edit the post same way you do with pages.
