• Hi everyone! I was recently hired to do some work on an existing WordPress site. The site has not been maintained very well. Today the owner of the site decided to remove a feature he’d previously installed that linked his google calendar to the website. It looks like a piece of the code was left behind in the process, which is causing the home page to crash.

Up to this point I feel pretty comfortable with what I’m doing, but for the life of me I can’t figure out where the home page is located! I’ve gone through each page systematically and it isn’t under “All Pages.” Do you guys know what might be going on here? This is an older version of WordPress than I’m used to working in, so perhaps there’s something obvious here that I’m just missing.

Here’s the link to the site: http://www.dusty45s.com

    Thanks for your help!

  • You can try looking at Settings → Reading in the Dashboard to determine if a static “Front page” has been set.

What code is on line 117 of wp-content/themes/Dusty45s/home.php?
Is it a function call related to the feature that the site owner removed?
