Home page background image shows up while loading inner pages

Thanks for the wonderful theme, our site is coming up really good.
Just one small thing, while loading the inner pages, the background image set in home page shows up until the page loads completely and then goes away. Is there a way to stop this from loading while going to inner pages? This looks bit out of place especially when accessing the site at low network speed.

Can you please let us know if there is a way for this?

Hi,

The styling for the image loads before the CSS styling for the background-color, so it loads the image first and then color when it loads. It’s not an issue. 🙂

Same thing happens to my site. Having the background image flash before page content does not look good at all. Is there a workaround or way to fix this?

Hi,

I get the same thing.

My pages have a white background. I want the pages to display the background image instead of the white background.

Which section of the style.css file should I edit?

I have commented the background in the Reset section but the background image does not display.

Any cues?

Hello @whiteelephant,

To add background image please go to “Appearance > Customize > Background Image” put your image here, This will show on index page.

Yep. That’s what I did, and no image. I did switch over from the WP template called 2013 – could that be messing it up?

When I add my background picture it turns out much darker than the original photo. I edited my photos in adobe photoshop elements … what am I doing wrong?
