'Home' missing in breadcrumb after 5.0 update

    I just upgraded this plugin after a WP update to 3.8.

    In the breadcrumb trail before the plugin update to 5.0 the trail looked like this:

    Home > About the Region > Massachusetts

    After the upgrade I’m seeing:

    > About the Region > Massachusetts.

    I reset and set again the setting to place the home breadcrumb in the trail. If I check it off, the ‘>’ sign is removed in front of ‘About’.

    I also changed the home template text from %htitle% to Home, but to no avail.

    Any ideas?

    You probably want to check the value of the “Home Template” setting in the Breadcrumb NavXT settings page. Make sure there is a %htitle% in there, and that the HTML anchor is valid. Additionally, take a look at what the generated HTML of the plugin is (do a view page source, not an inspect element).
