Home menu shows shop url after loading main page

Hello,
I use a subdomain (shop.mydomain.com) for my online store and added the home tab to my menu that links to mydomain.com. When I click on home my main page gets loaded but the url in the browser still says shop.mydomain.com.
How can I display the correct url mydomain.com?
