Support » Fixing WordPress » "HOME" link unwantedly points to original WP installation
2 years, 11 months ago
I’m a newbie, and I tried to search WP and google, but could not find a solution. Hope someone can help.
My blog is http://www.vitaminkita.net. .
My problem is that on any pages, the “HOME” link on the menu bar points to http://22.214.171.124/~vitamit4/vitaminkita/, which was the original WP installation.
I want the “HOME” menu to points to http://www.vitaminkita.net. All other menu items(pages) work fine.
As a background:
1) I used manageWP to clone the from the /vitaminkita to http://www.vitaminkita.net.
2) I set both WordPress Address and Site Address to http://www.vitaminkita.net in General>Setting.
I thank you for your help.
Try going to appearance >> Menus. Now select the HOME from the list and edit the link
That was it. I was thinking that “HOME” is not available as Pages, since I did not create it, and thought it was not visible in Menu.
Thanks very much!
Glad I could help!
