    HI
    it’s working fine, please go theme page ( https://wordpress.org/themes/bc-business-consulting/ ) and click preview you will see it’s working great ..

    one more thing, if you go inner page/post then button we re-back to home page.

    Thanks

    Hi!
    Yes, it’s working great in the theme page.
    But not working in my site https://2020.keagi.kz

    Hi,

    I really like this theme however i am also experiencing the exact same issue as above. The home (house icon) does nothing when you hover the cursor over it or click the icon itself. The icon seems to have lost its hover/hyperlink ability.

    Is there any way of fixing this? Yes it works in the theme page but not when it is applied wordpress.

    Also what are you referring to by saying “one more thing, if you go inner page/post then button we re-back to home page” Im a bit lost as to what you are saying here…

    Any help to correct this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Just adding to this, i found that if i insert “a:hover” into the styles.css line 293, the hover and link option starts working again but for some reason when applying the hover selector code, the home icon goes really small.

    This is what i mean: line 293 .menu-block .container span.home-icon a:hover {

    Another thing that i have noticed is that the home icon is permanently yellow color compared to the demo site which is white and then it goes yellow when you hover over it or click on it.

    Im not sure if this is helpful at all but thought to let you know. The hover selector option seems to make it work but it then breaks the home icons size. Perhaps the hover selector needs to be inserted somewhere else?

    Here’s how i ended up fixing the home icon issue.

    In styles.css, find “.menu-block .container span.home-icon” (without the “” of course)
    delete the line “padding-right: 25px;”
    add line to bottom “z-index: 99;”

    It should now look this this for example:
    .menu-block .container span.home-icon {
    color: #fff;
    float: left;
    font-size: 32px;
    margin-top: 0;
    position: relative;
    top: 15px;
    z-index: 99;

    Next find “a.btn:active{”
    Change color from #ddab03 to #fff
    Then add line to bottom “.home-icon a:hover,”

    It should now look this this for example:
    a.btn:active{
    color: #fff;
    }
    .home-icon a:hover,

    After making/saving these changes, the home icon starts working correctly.

    Excellent work, @1venomouscyborg, thank you!
    Now the home button works good.

    p.s. If you change the color of Home-button, then the color of site-name will also change. And if the background color of the site’s name is white, then it will not be visible until you hover over.

    On my site I left the default color.
