Home breadcrumb points to wrong language page

    Using Polylang with site in dutch & english.

    The page/posts/products breadcrumbs on the english side work all work correctly apart from the Home breadcrumb which links back to the dutch homepage. Dutch is the base language with English pages rendering under https://mydomain.com/en/.

    Have I missed a setting somewhere??

    If you have your static front page set properly (under settings > reading) and an English equivalent is specified, users of the English site should get the English version of the home page. Polylang does this for you. Ideally, if you want to change the URL for Home, you need to affect get_home_url(), which Polylang could do, but it appears the developer decided against that and figures out the proper language instead.

    Thanks John.

    The static page setting were correct & not causing the issue. I have discovered that I needed to uncheck “Hide URL language information for default language” in Polylang’s URL settings for the homepage breadcrumb to work correctly. So my URL’s a re a little uglier but problem solved!
