Home and first menu tab are the same page duplicated

  • Hi, in a wordpress website I’m going to manage I have found a menu made with tabs. The first (called “home”) and the second tab are strange because:
    – they have two different tab name
    – they go to the same url with same content
    – only the second tab page is between pages in the admin panel (there’s not “home” there)

I would like to leave only one of these two tabs. Anyone could say to me some to do? I have tried to look at settings..

    Thanks
    Ciao
    Roberto

  • What’s your URL?

Now, after some other further attempts I have deleted the duplicated page called “chi sono” and I have created a new page called “home”. Now it appears the tabs called “home”: one in the first position of the menu, the other one in the end of menu. If I delete that page both home tabs disappear. If you look at its properties (in the admin panel there’s only one page called home) you find that it is position at place 0 and that is it principle. No idea at the moment. Ciao, thank you!

Are you using a Custom Menu? (Appearance > Menu)

No Wpyogi. I have tried to use it, but it creates a second menu below. So i have no custom navigation top menu actived in (Appearance > Menu).

    Thanks and ciao 🙂

The theme on that site looks quite outdated –

    Blue Taste

    so that may be related…

I don’t know..it could be a good reason,…I have also tried to contact the developer, but….
