Only a registered member can have access to my site, but I noticed this plugin automatically added the links to a post or page. When I used these shortcodes in my landing page footer and on my registration page it took prospective users to a page inside my site that gave them access to the main navigation.

When I tried to copy the shortcodes to add them to a Blank page where I could hide the navigation menu (which changed the permalink the contents of the page was blank.

How do I simply create the legal forms and use the shortcode on pages that I can manage and not have to use the default “wpauto” permalink; which was apparently created on a default page including the site main navigation menu)?

  • Plugin Author WP AutoTerms

You can disable the added links from WP AutoTerms > Compliance Kits > Links to Legal pages and disable it from there.

Once a legal page has been created a short code is available for you to use in any other WP Pages or Posts to show the content of that legal page. The short code is shown at WP AutoTerms > All Legal Pages > See the “Short code” column.
