• Hi All,

I posted this in the relevant plugins section but have had no responses. Can anyone give any pointers or had the same issue?

I have a brand new clean install of WP 3.8.1 new theme & new address only been up a few days. There is no human traffic as yet and only just starting to come through in serps.

I am using pretty link lite for links however as soon as I publish the posts they are being hit most often by my own servers IP address.

There are also a few nondescript “internet businesses” and hosting companies IP addresses registering.

Trouble is the people they are linking to are registering these hits too and looks bad.

As a background I opened this site a while back different theme & plugins the only identical plugin used was Pretty Link Lite and the same thing happened. I ended up taking it down and leaving it a while

So does anyone have an idea of what is causing this?

ps the links used are 301 noFollows.

    Many Thanks
