Highlighting Text in Editor

  • Hi, I’m trying to use the plugin and I have two problems:

    1) Is there any way to change the text highlight color? Is that a function of the browser? I’m using Chrome. Nearly all the dark themes have white text, which is correct of course, but then when I highlight a word, the highlight color is yellow (or another light color) that does not have enough contrast to show white text against the highlight. In other words when I highlight text in a dark theme I can’t read the text within the highlight (except in the Ruby theme).

    2) In some cases I cannot highlight certain words. The highlighting just stops as I drag over a certain section (but not others). I have not analyzed this fully, but it seems to be related to selecting-words-with-hyphens-withing-tags-like-css-classes. Or it may depend on the position of what I’m highlighting (towards the bottom of the text area. Just checking if there are any known issues. I’m using 16px text by the way.

    Thanks!
