# Highlight Text

 * When I apply the highlight function to any piece of text, that piece duplicates
   at the page´s HTML.
 * Visually, it’s all fine, but in the HTML the text appears twice. I suspect that
   this interferes in organic traffic from Google, because when I turn the function
   off, my web stories start appearing again at Google Discover.

 * Duplicating the text in the HTML like that is intended behavior to ensure that
   the highlighting works correctly in all browsers.
 * How did you come to the conclusion that changing/removing highlight affected 
   your appearance on Discover?
