    Hey there,

I have been using the plugin happily so far but I wonder if it is possible to bump the resolution of the excerpt thumbnails?

As you can see on my website (www.deathmetalmods.de) the standard 200×140 looks pretty blurry. (I am on Iconic One Theme, of thats important)

    Any tipps?

    Thanks
    SB

This is done in your theme’s code. You could look through it for where it create’s the post thumbnails (add_image_size is the relevant method). It might be easier to just contact your theme’s creator and ask them where to do that. (They would also know about any potential side-effects that might occur from changing the size)

Thanks for replying. I allready tried to solve it with my theme support (Iconic One). The gave me a addition to the functions php (->
Iconic One [resolved] Increase excerpt thumbnail resolution (5 posts))

That did not have any effect, thats why I guessed it might be a issue with the post thumbnail editor.

Sorry, I don’t do anything with managing post-thumbnails sizes in this plugin… I would verify that there isn’t another place in the theme code that has add_image_size somewhere, and what I would suggest is disabling PTE (and all other plugins), changing the add_image_size as suggested in the other link and seeing if your homepage changes. If it doesn’t then update the Iconic One message with your problems saying that you disabled other plugins, but the problem still exists.

If the problem goes away when you disable PTE, then maybe I can help.
