[Resolved] High server load when navigating in the 'Pages' section in admin panel

  • We have a WordPress site with 68 pages, hosted on our 3GB VPS.

When I open the admin panel and go to the ‘Pages’ section and click on the pagination (we have 4 pages, because of the 68 pages) it sometimes takes 10+ seconds for the page to load. Sometimes it loads in 2 or 3 seconds. But sometimes it takes 10+ seconds.

The thing I’m worried about is the server load. Our normal server load is around 0.50. But when I start navigating in the ‘Pages’ section of WordPress the server load becomes 2.00 or higher.

    What could be wrong?

The front-end is working fine. Also our other sites on the VPS are working fine.

  • I tested it some more.

When I deactivated a SEO plugin navigating became fast again and the load only raises with around 0.50 points.

Maybe I did a misconfiguration somewhere.
