High load on multisite

    I have a multisite containing 50 blogs on the network and I have just activated w3 total cache and I noticed it causes high load on my vps. It uses up all my ram which is 4GB & high cpu usage. My vps runs nginx, php 5.5 with zend opcache and memcached. Any idea what’s causing the high load? disabling it make site back to normal
