 * I decided to install this plugin due to its high star-rating.
 * Unfortunately this plugin causes my server (dual code dedicated EPIC cpu, nginx)
   to go up from 2-3% load up to 25-45% on both cores. It is just this SINGLE plugin.
 * Especially seen at night. I do not recommend this plugin to anyone.
 * For information: the high cpu-load can be seen via linux “htop”-command. If you
   press F5, you can see, that it is the php7.x-fpm pool. I tried to deactivate
   all plugins and switched off all other websites for testing purposes. But a maintenance
   plugin, that is what you think very least about. Ironically, yes, the trouble
   is caused by a maintenance plugin. I also increased the refresh-rate to 2000ms,
   but this affects just little to cpu-load.

 * Hi [@fromks007](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fromks007/),
    If you have
   increased the refresh rate to 2000 ms I don’t see how this will increase the
   CPU load as all this plugin does is running several Unix commands behind the
   scene to give you realtime data.

 * Thank you for your response. I reinstalled the plugin, the high cpu-load is back.
 * There seems to be a bug, causing a high cpu-load.
 * nginx/1.19.2
    Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS php-fpm (tested with 7.4 and 7.3)

 * Hi [@fromks007](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fromks007/),
    I would love
   to look at it if you please open a support thread as we are not supposed to talk
   about issues in the review section. Anyways, try disabling `shell_exec` PHP function
   and see if that fixes the issue or not. Let me know.
