# High Ajax Usage

 * After having some speed issues I spoke with Kinsta who alerted me of high Ajax
   usage. Not a developer, but it seems to be Wordfence?
 * **Top average PHP + MySQL response time** is just full of links such as:
 * /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wordfence_doScan&isFork=0&scanMode=custom&cronKey
 * Time: 49.39 s
 * Same on **Top maximum upstream time**
 * Does this mean anything to anyone? All nonsense to me!

   Thanks for reaching out!Sometimes plugin conflicts or not having enough
   PHP memory can cause your site to slow down.
 * I would first start with asking your hosting provider to increase the php memory
   limit to if that helps.
 * If it doesn’t reach back out here and we can try other methods!
