• Hi,

First, your plugin is really helpful to make gravity forms work with the custom post types and taxonomies, thank you !

As the title suggests, I have a display request. I know the taxonomies can be displayed hierarchically in a dropdown menu, but for my project I need checkboxes for the multi choices, and the alphabetical order just doesn’t work (sub-taxonomies with the same name for example).

So is it possible to make the checkboxes display in hierarchical order too ?
In a nested list would be the best, so we can play with some JS to display/hide the sub-taxonomies whether the parent checkbox is checked or not !

    hi there

that is something I really want to add to the plugin. I will be doing that in the next version of the plugin. As for displaying/hiding the child items I am not too sure about, but showing the list in a hierarchy should be very possible

    that’s great to hear !

Displaying/hiding can be handled by JS easily, and it’s not something that needs to be included in the plugin. But having a nice nested list for the checkboxes would really help. Do you have an approximate release date planned for the next version ?

I would love this too…… I look forward to hearing when it comes out!

A plus one from me too – would be really handy to have hierarchical taxonomies list out as a nested list.

Just out of interest is the plugin playing nicely with the last RC of GF1.6? Haven’t had a chance to try it out with any of the betas just yet.

sorry this did not make it into version 3, but I am still working on it. It is a difficult control to create, so I am having issues displaying it nicely.

If you come across a jquery plugin or a similar concept online, please post URL’s here

    thanks guys
