    Hi I'm having issues with getting rid of ALL wordpress titles and I've literally tried every piece of code I can find on other forums.

    The Site is Going2Natural.com

    Also if someone can tell me how to get rid of the black bar in the slider I would be incredibly thankful.

    Cheers

  2. Hey there.

    The slider:

    #bootstrap-slider .carousel-caption h2 {
    display: none;
    }

    You will probably then want some padding on top of the white writing so it's not butted up against it:

    #bootstrap-slider .carousel-caption p {
    padding-top: 12px;
    }

    That should sort the slider, now for the titles. You say WordPress titles, do you mean the article titles?

    And you don't want any to show, not even in the article or anywhere?

    If that's the case then this should help:

    .entry-title, .entry-title a {
    display: none;
    }

    That is very general CSS and will remove all titles and linked titles on your site. Not sure if that's what you really want?

    This CSS simply hides the items from display. They're still in the code.

    There is a chance that the theme has a CSS field in the options, if not then you can make a child theme:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
    http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/create-wordpress-child-theme/

    Or you can instead use a plugin if you like:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin/screenshots/

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/my-custom-css/screenshots/

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/pc-custom-css/

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/imporved-simpler-css/screenshots/

    Have a fantastic day! :)

    After the last update I installed a child theme ( I lost everything lol)

    These were great suggestions but the black line in the slider didn't disappear it simply got bigger and wrapped around the text.

    Also on my article pages I redirected my pages to there categories (so they'd update better) I ended up having to use

    .archive-title
    {
    display:none;
    }

    It worked perfectly for the pages pointing to categories but I still have title showing up on my "About Us","Our Team","Farm2Fork", and "Contact" page.

    Is there anyway to remove these without removing article titles?

  4. Hey there.

    The line did go, it was an empty H2 tag that was there originally. Here's a screenshot:

    http://monosnap.com/image/5Ka0BhlysEnC5XM8hRBqhwzAhsIEtF

    I then expanded the P tag which is the lighter black background. As you only said you wanted the dark one removing that's all it did. To remove the other black you can do this:

    .carousel-caption {background:none;}

    That should remove the RGB on the background for the second part.

    For the titles, a more generic class we could target is this which I mentioned above:

    .entry-title {display:none;}

    I took a look on your team page and tested this, it works fine there. Did this not work before?

    Take care.

    When I use

    .carousel-caption {background:none;}

    it goes from this :

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/e8vh7oajwclzj0l/Screenshot%202014-07-10%2011.11.46.png

    To this:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/q46ssd5hsfgx7zp/Screenshot%202014-07-10%2011.05.19.png

    and I want it to go back to this:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/25whqezmztw80rn/Screenshot%202014-06-12%2020.13.17.png

    Then When I used

    .entry-title {display:none;}

    The page went from this :

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/b7twkbvdpgv740l/Screenshot%202014-07-10%2011.07.02.png

    To This:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/8s53kuh6zxcd7h1/Screenshot%202014-07-10%2011.06.43.png

    I want to keep the article titles just not the actual page title. If I'm going to have to use ftp I'd be really grateful for a step by step.

  6. .carousel-caption {background:none;}

    it goes from this :

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/e8vh7oajwclzj0l/Screenshot%202014-07-10%2011.11.46.png

    To this:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/q46ssd5hsfgx7zp/Screenshot%202014-07-10%2011.05.19.png

    and I want it to go back to this:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/25whqezmztw80rn/Screenshot%202014-06-12%2020.13.17.png

    So you need to use the CSS I gave before:

    #bootstrap-slider .carousel-caption h2 {
    display: none;
    }

    That targets the H2 tag there.

    And:

    .carousel-caption {background:none;}

    That removes the lower black area background.

    Or combined:

    .carousel-caption, #bootstrap-slider .carousel-caption h2 {background:none;}

    Then When I used

    .entry-title {display:none;}

    The page went from this :

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/b7twkbvdpgv740l/Screenshot%202014-07-10%2011.07.02.png

    To This:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/8s53kuh6zxcd7h1/Screenshot%202014-07-10%2011.06.43.png

    I want to keep the article titles just not the actual page title. If I'm going to have to use ftp I'd be really grateful for a step by step.

    Not sure what you mean there?

    So you want the page titles to be on the front of the site, but you don't want them on the actual pages?

    If that's the case and you only wish to target titles on when on a single post then you could do this:

    .single-post .entry-title {display:none;}

    Or if it's only the page you want to remove the title from then you could instead do this:

    .page .entry-title {display:none;}

    If you wish to use FTP you can checkout the following resource:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients

    Take care.
