Hiding the Menu setting from users (3 posts)

    I'm runing a multisite network using the menu plugin which is great.

    Problem is (or i'm doing something wrong) when i want to hide the Menu option under settings tab, so users can't edit/hide menus on their own, it also hides the Menu option for me (super admin). so lets say i want to bring back a specific menu for all users, i can't, because Menu tab is missing.

    Only solution is to reset all menus and configure them again.

    Am i doing something wrong or this is how it works?

    Did you use the "Hide" button (it looks like a grey puzzle piece) to hide the menu item? That would indeed hide it from everyone.

    Instead, set the "Required capability" to "super_admin".

    Yes, i did use the Hide button.

    Changes the menues to Super_Admin and that did the trick!
