Hiding the byline

    The line below the heading of each of my posts shows the date and my name as author. Since no one else is posting, having my name displayed with each post is repetitive and superflous. How can I prevent my name from showing?

    Edit your theme’s template files and remove references to <?php the_author() ?> or <?php the_author_posts_link(); ?>.
