Hiding personal posts from front page

I have a blog linked to my business website. I want to be able to post daily personal posts to the same blog, but not have them show up on the main front page, and only have them accessible by say clicking on the personal catagory on the right hand side.

This way visitors can look at my blog as normal, and friends can go to my blog and then look at my personal stuff by clicking on the link.

Anyone know how to do this? As i’m not that great at this stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated
