    Hello Sir,
I need to give access to my client who I have given Author User Role permission.

So I made my settings of the Dashboard to be hidden to subscribers and Contributor, so that my client who has Author Role can access the Dashboard. See it here– https://prntscr.com/11sd1xg

Then I selected 3 items to show–Posts, Media and WP Recipe Maker. See it here– https://prntscr.com/11sd5uq

Unfortunately, when the user logs in, Posts and Media show quite alright. But WP Recipe Maker did not show. See it here– https://prntscr.com/11sd98g

I thought it was a problem with WP Recipe Maker plugin. Then I enabled Pages, Plugin, settings and other things. But none of these things appeared when the user is logged in.

It was then I realized that the problem is with White Label CMS. It is not responding to settings.

Please, how can this be fixed?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @gamicord,

We have tried to recreate the issue using WP Recipe Maker plugin and found out that the plugin has permission settings.

To make it show in the Author Roles, you need to go to WPM plugin Settings > Advanced / Permissions and on the Backend Access – Access to Manage Page change “manage_options” to “edit_posts” https://prnt.sc/11u4bz0

You can check this page to know more about Author Capabilities https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/#author

    Thanks

    Oh my goodness!

I followed your instructions and everything worked out fine. I’ve spoken to the WPRM plugin Author and he told me the same thing that you guys told me.

I got your meaning, but couldn’t get his meaning. Why?

It’s because you guys took the extra effort, not just to speak English, but to additionally demonstrate the answer.

Your approach to answering my question was both mature and intelligently clear.

My challenge is resolved. Thanks so much.

    Hi @gamicord,

Thank you so much for the kind words. Particularly as the person who researched the answer for the question, it was their first week working in support!

    So high fives all around!

If you like White Label CMS, we would really appreciate a review!

Thanks and have a great weekend.

    Hello Sir,
I have all Menus in Posts enabled for client as you can see here– https://prntscr.com/15n4jbd

But on the client Dashboard, everything else that I’ve enabled and disabled are enabled and disabled properly except for Categories and Tags.

The Categories and Tags Menus do not appear. See it here– https://prnt.sc/15n4ypt

Any way I can fix this?

    Special Regards
